oils |
Aromatherapy is the practice
of using essential oils obtained from plant extract to affect one's
health or mood. Essential oils have been used to kill bacteria, relieve
pain, reduce inflammation, and as treatment for many other ailments.
These oils may be inhaled directly by an individual, applied topically,
or added to a bath. A few examples of certain popular essential oils
and their benefits are listed below:
Lavender - Very effective on burns. Anti-inflammatory properties.

Geranium - May brighten and uplift spirits while also working

be effective as an aid in menopausal, uterine and breast conditions.
Rosemary - A mental and physical stimulant. Used to warm up
arthritis joints. Helpful with cold and flu symptoms. May stimulate
hair growth.
